The Waterford Township Police Foundation represents a public/private partnership  designed to assist the Waterford Township Police Department in building positive relationships with the community, improving  officer proficiency and safety, and augmenting law enforcement equipment and technology in order to enhance public safety and quality of life within Waterford Township.

The Waterford Township Police Foundation is a registered corporation with the State of New Jersey and recognized by the U.S. Federal Government as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. All monies raised by the foundation are used toward the furtherance of the foundation's objectives of public safety improvement, community partnership enhancement, and employee  development.
